What Do You Do With Your Notes?

Do you make notes? I do. A lot of them. I love to think while I am making the note, that somehow this will organize my day/life and make things a little bit easier. The truth is, I end up with notes everywhere. They are written in several of the "special, notes only" note pads I repeatedly buy. Many of the notes I write end up on envelopes which never get opened. They are usually from collectors anyway and I don't mean in an Auction Hunters sort of way. 

So, here, on this page, I shall write down my notes. Does writing them here somehow make them organized? I doubt it. What I do believe though is that I will touch on past ideas, comments and observations. Maybe I need a refresher or just a real functional way to collect my thoughts and ideas.

If I know the date, I will write it. This is not going to be in chronological order. On a side note, my notebooks are becoming playgrounds for my daughters writing instruments. The ability to read some of the notes has been hindered and therefore, this is a measure to preserve these precious ideas. I use the word precious as a joke, but it still brought a dainty feeling to the sentence and I think we all need a little more dainty in our lives.

Today is at the top of the blog. I am starting in my Apple issued notebook. I really like this notebook as it was the most functional thing I received from Apple. Something I could use in my daily life. Not a mirror, or a small tape measure, nor a t-shirt, although it is not their fault the shirts are too snug. I blame peanut butter.

Ah, but there is this really nice blue towel with the apple logo on it. I really like that. Unfortunately it has nail holes in it as I needed it for drapes. Not everyone can afford a flag. (Some of you may get that)

The imperfections of yesteryear, photos, audio, video, are what gives it character. Now, much looks the same without filter. That is why setting is so important. How will this look in 30 years? It needs to stay relevant to resonate.

DISCLAIMER (Normally, I would not comment on the notes, but this is a weird one. This is an actual story and I was trying to find information on it. As I recall, the person who committed this crime was not caught until he killed an Anti-death penalty advocate's child. I could be wrong and that is why I was researching. I think that story is a powerful tool to reconsider capital punishment when there is undeniable evidence. A video of the person doing it. We spend way too much each year keeping these people alive, yet we are paying billions to kill insurgents who merely are not too fond of people invading their land and culture. Yeah there are some extremists, but what do we have here? What would we do if the Chinese came and try to implement their way of life on us? It would be a message that since we are more affluent, therefore we have a better focus on what life is supposed to be like? Get real. We would arm ourselves and do the same shit, just in a more patriotic sort of way. So why keep these terrorists alive. People that live among us. Maybe send them over there and use them as booby traps. It's ridiculous. So anyway, that is why the mention of that. I am glad I was reminded. It is a sad story and if anyone knows what the heck I am talking about, please let me know. I am not trying to be morbid, but I'd hate to tell a wrong story for sure.)
